I have seen great white sharks defeat and even kill an orca. And no it was not a juvenile it was a fully grown orca. It is also true that great white sharks are terrified of orcas. They realize their weakness which is being turned over makes them hypnotized while either on land or in the ocean that is their weakness. A one-on-one fight rarely happens because then the orca is at an extreme disadvantage even being larger and with a larger brain. In a one-on-one fight the great white might also run away because it would be scared that there's another orca down below about to turn it over. If cornered and forced to fight in a one-on-one battle the great white is almost certainly to be killed even being bigger. And if they are closer to the same size oh it's no contest. What most people don't know although they've heard that orcas kill great whites and eat their livers they do not kill them alone it is always a pod or at least several of them. In a one-on-one fight I would believe I'd have to see different I believe the orca would flee. If you could not flee and his family was close by it was probably trying to echo locating to bring family to the rescue and then the shark is going to die almost certainly. And if the fight drags on the orca would be at a disadvantage because it is a mammal it is an air breather while the shark breathes water. If orcas always traveled one-on-one the way great whites do I believe great whites would feed on them. But you get a pod or a group like just like a group of wolves they can take on a much larger predator because of the numbers. A pack of wolves is not nearly as big as a Jaguar but having a whole pack it could take down and kill a jaguar although the Jaguar would probably kill several of the wolves. And if it could it would get away because it's smart enough to know that it can't win a fight where it is so severely outnumbered same thing with orcas.

Even in a one on one fight the orca will beat a great white shark

In a one-on-one Battle of the great white would probably win every time at least most of the time. Because even though killer whales are bigger and have larger brains and intimidating teeth they are not razor blades. The problem is killer whales rarely travel alone they are always in pods and this is how they kill great white sharks. Even being on the sea for years at a time I have never seen a one-on-one battle with an orca and a great white it is always a pod or at least several of them. Plus they have known something for millennium that people have only recently discovered and that is if you turn a shark over on land or in water it becomes helpless. That's what they do one comes underneath it while it's dealing with the one on the surface and literally flips it over.

The Orcas seems to be easily tamed (look at their performances). But the Great White? I don't think so. So it shocked me to know Orcas are deadlier!

the Orca will win, Great White Sharks are solitary animals, Orca's hunt in pods, plus Orca's are quite fond of great white shark livers which they extract with almost surgical precision. making Orca's the apex predator of the sea.

Hands Down one on one a Great White would win, I have a cousin in the navy who is also a marine biologist, he has studied both animals. Yes an orca can ambush a great white and try to knock it out but the fast and more deadly great white can dive down so much draper and attack and possibly kill the Killer whale from below.
